Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy covers the games we publish on the App Store and Google Play, and this website. They collect different things, so they are described separately.

Our Games

Our games have no accounts, no sign-in, and no ads. To understand which parts of a game people enjoy, where they get stuck, and what breaks, a game sends us anonymous events of these kinds:

  • A random ID created on your device the first time you open the game. It is not your Apple or Google account, not an advertising identifier, and is not connected to your name, email, or any other app. Deleting and reinstalling the game creates a brand new one.
  • Which game, and which version — the game's name, whether you are on iOS or Android, and the app version and build number.
  • Gameplay events — things like opening the how-to screen, starting and finishing a game, the final score, and simple stats about that game (in a word game, for example, the longest word played and how many words were not accepted). We use these to tune difficulty and find problems.
  • Technical diagnostics — if something goes wrong, details about the error, such as the error message and where in the game's code it happened, so we can fix it.

Every event is tied only to the random ID above, never to who you are. These events go to a server we run ourselves at analytics.fizzypop.games, on infrastructure we control. We do not record IP addresses or location alongside them.

Your high scores, sound settings, and game progress are stored on your device and are never uploaded.

What our games never collect

  • No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or accounts
  • No advertising identifiers (no IDFA, no Android Advertising ID) — we show no ads
  • No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access
  • No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind
  • Nothing is ever sold, rented, or shared with data brokers

This Website

Unlike our games, this website uses Google Analytics 4 to count page visits and see which pages people read. That is a third-party service and Google's own privacy policy applies to it. If you sign up for updates or send feedback, we store the email address you give us so we can reply.

Third-Party Services

  • In our games: none.
  • On this website: Google Analytics.
  • App stores: Apple and Google handle downloads and updates under their own privacy policies. We receive only the anonymous, aggregated sales and crash reports they choose to show us.

Children's Privacy

Our games are family-friendly and collect no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the gameplay events described above contain no personal information, there is nothing about a child for us to hold.

Your Choices

We want to be straightforward about this rather than list rights we cannot actually deliver. The random ID a game generates is not linked to your identity, and we hold nothing that would let us work out which ID belongs to which person. That means if you email us, we have no way to find "your" records in order to show or delete them.

What you can do:

  • Reset it: deleting and reinstalling a game generates a new random ID, disconnecting you from anything sent previously.
  • Website analytics: browser privacy settings, tracker blockers, and Google's own opt-out tools all prevent the website's analytics from loading.
  • Email: if you have given us an email address, write to us and we will delete it.

How Long We Keep Data

Anonymous gameplay events are kept only as long as they help us improve our games. Email addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them.

Data Security

Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure with access limited to us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but because we collect no personal information from our games, there is very little at stake if something did go wrong.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
